Pastor/ Artist Fred Kenney Jr.

"Sold as a child slave, falsely accused, wrongly imprisoned, and completely forgotten, Joseph became the wisest, most discerning & blessed man in all of Egypt. How does Joseph's divine wisdom resonate with you today?"

Today's podcast was recorded at our  "Southern New Jersey Studio" in Cape May, NJ, during our (3) 'PETE' NJ  April '24 Tour.  Accommodations at "Cozy Shore Cottage" graciously provided by Plays On Word Play Makers, Mark & Karen Case:

Experience a timeless tale of triumph and divine destiny as pastor Teddy — also known as Fred David Kenney, Jr. — shares the profound story of Joseph's rise from the depths of a dungeon to the heights of Egyptian power. Imagine being shackled, seemingly forgotten by the world, only to be called upon to save that very world from impending disaster. We'll navigate through the twists and turns of Joseph's life, drawing from Genesis 41, to reveal how his journey can fuel our faith and foresight in the modern era. Discover the importance of readiness in the presence of earthly kings and when we stand before the King of Kings, our Lord Jesus, and how embracing our imperfections can lead to our greatest blessings.

Then, as we scrutinize Joseph's encounter with Pharaoh's disturbing dreams, we'll uncover the splendor of God's sovereignty — a power that eclipses the mightiest earthly authorities. Joseph's story reminds us of the impact that a single, divinely inspired individual can have on the course of history. As Joseph's interpretations of dreams turned the tides of a nation, so do we consider the weight of prophetic voices in our time. What lessons can we take from the biblical account that still echo in today's world? Join us for an exploration of ancient wisdom that continues to shape our paths and the anticipation of prophecies yet to unfold.

Speaker 1:

Lord, you know you listen on the place of word. The radio is the best. How does Joseph's story resonate in our lives today? Let's embark on a journey delving into his ascent from the dungeon to the seat of power, revealing timeless lessons on faith, providence and resilience.

Speaker 2:

Hello and welcome to Plays on Word Radio, where we discuss, analyze, work and play on the Word of God. Thank you for joining us on this excursion. Today let's join Pastor Teddy, also known as Fred David Kenny Jr, the founder of Plays on Word Theater, as he does a deep dive into the Word of God. Yeah, amen, Amen, all right.

Speaker 3:

Okay, well, thank you very much, mr Josh Taylor and Katie Kenny. Welcome to every single one of you listening to Plays on Word right now and we are currently in our southern New Jersey studio in Cape May and we are at the Cozy Shore Cottage. At the Cozy Shore Cottage, it's an Airbnb that is owned by our beloved playmakers, mark and Karen Case. They are plays on word playmakers and they have supported the ministry in many ways, and one of the ways they wanted to make sure we had a place to stay when we came up to do our Pete play at Calvary Chapel, cape May and we did Calvary Chapel, cape May and we also did Beacon Evangelical Free Church in Galloway, new Jersey, over near Atlantic City. So this is the. This is our the end leg of our New Jersey tour and then we're heading back to Southern Command down in North Carolina. But we will be back, god willing. We will be back already because there are plays lining up in this Northeast area, so we plan to come back. You guys can keep that in prayer for us. Did you guys enjoy the guys from last week and the week before from Horizon Christian Fellowship? I'm getting a lot of good, positive feedback from those men of God, and we're going to have those guys back on as well. So I just wanted to give one more shout out to Angelo and the whole crew from Horizon we're looking forward to getting, and the whole crew from Horizon we're looking forward to getting. I'll be getting together with those guys in a few weeks, actually, at the East Coast Pastors Conference, looking forward to that.

Speaker 3:

So, before that, though, we were in Genesis, because we're going through the Genesis Joe play. We were in chapter 41, and I did not manage my time properly. So I ran out of time and the Holy Spirit said all right, you need to shut it down for now, and that's what I did. So we're going to pick back up and continue in Genesis, chapter 41, in chapter 17. And this is after Joseph interpreted the dreams for the cup bearer and the baker, and two whole years passed, and this guy was. He thought he was getting out because the chief cup bearer was right there next to Pharaoh, and the cupbearer forgot about Joseph, left him hanging for two years, and in the play we accent that and point that out, and it's evident in the play, and I'm not going to I won't go into too much. You have to come see the play for that.

Speaker 3:

But in verse 17, pharaoh is now talking to Joseph. Joseph, after two years, the cupbearer remembers Joseph and they bring him and they clean him up and they get him all shaved his head and his beard and got him all cleaned up. And that pointed to remember. We pointed out that you cannot just approach a king as you are. You can't do that. You need to be cleaned up, you need to be correct, have the right clothing and everything. Jesus is the only King you can come to as you are and he cleans you up, amen. So let's get with verse 17 here in Genesis 41, as we continue to dive into this word here, verse 17,. Then Pharaoh said to Joseph he's telling him in his dream.

Speaker 3:

Now, in my dream I was standing on the bank of the Nile Verse 18, when out of the river there came up seven cows, fat and sleek, and they grazed among the reeds Verse 19,. After them seven other cows came up, scrawny and very ugly and lean. I had never seen such ugly cows in all the land of Egypt. Verse 20,. The lean, ugly cows ate up the seven fat cows that came up first Verse 21,. But even after they ate them, no one could tell that they had done so. They looked just as ugly as before. Then I woke up Verse 22, in my dream he's continuing here with the second dream, my dream I saw seven heads of grain, full and good, growing on a single stalk Verse 23,. After them, seven other heads sprouted, withered and thin, and scorched by the east wind Verse 24,. The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads. I told this to the magicians, but none of them could explain it to me. Now, let's just park there for a second. You got a picture of this scene here. You got a picture of this scene here.

Speaker 3:

Joseph is. All the people on staff for Pharaoh have gone through this, no doubt heard it over and over, and now he's telling it to this slave prisoner. All right, all right. Now let's go back to verse 25. Then Joseph said to Pharaoh the dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has revealed to Pharaoh what he's about to do Now. Notice the heavenly insight that God gives to this kid. He's 30 years old, he's not really a kid, but still he's young. God gives him heavenly insight. And all the paid guys that we just talked about before? They couldn't tell him any of the things that Joseph is about to tell him. Notice, joseph also starts with God. God has revealed to Pharaoh not all right, pharaoh. I'm gonna tell you what this means, lord you are in the place of war.

Speaker 1:

All is the best. I'm not sure if I can do it. He's a Jolly, he's a Jolly. He's a Jolly Joseph's story in our lives today, on a journey delving, sent from the dungeon tower, revealing timeless faith, providence and sense.

Speaker 2:

Hello and welcome to Word Radio where we analyze work of Word of God. Thankless excursion today. Let Eddie, also known as Junior, the founder of theater, as he does the Word of.

Speaker 1:

God yeah, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen Amen.

Speaker 3:

Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen. Welcome to every listening to plays on WordRank and um. We are currently our southern new studio in May and are at the shore cottage B that is owned by our loved playmate Mark Karen Case. That's on word playing and um supported the ministry in many ways and one of the ways to make sure they will make him up to do our play at Apple Cape and we make May and we beacon even be church Galloway over near Atlantic City. So this is our the egg of our New Jersey tour heading back to Southern down in. But we will, god willing, we will be ready because there are is lining up in these areas. So we back that prayer for us.

Speaker 3:

Did you guys, the guys from week before From Horizon, did you guys see the guys from the week before From Horizon? A lot of good, positive feedback from those guys back on. So I just wanted to give one more shout out to Angelo and from her eyes and we're looking for, yeah, I'll be kids guys in actually at these pastures conference and for that. Oh, though, we were in.

Speaker 3:

Genesis because of the.

Speaker 1:

Genesis.

Speaker 3:

Joe play In chapter 40,.

Speaker 3:

I did not manage, so I ran out of time and time and the whole is, but you need to shut it down for now and that's what I'm. In 17 and Sir Joseph interpreted the dream bearer and baker and and Tears passed. And this guy was. He thought he was kidnapped. Chief Cupbearer Was right and was right arrow and the cup Left him hang years. And in the play we accent that and that out In the play and I'm not gonna go into too much yet, but in verse pharaoh is now talking Joseph, after two year, members, joseph, and they bring him up and they get him all shaved, his head and his beard all cleaned up.

Speaker 3:

Pointed to, pointed out. That cannot just approach as you do, that you have to need to be clean, you need to be correct, have the right, everything. Only king you can come to and he cleans you up. So verse 17, here in 41, as we continue to die here, said to Joseph. He's telling in my dream I was standing on the bank of the Nile, went out of the river up seven cows fleek and they ganked among the reeds 19. F7 cows that came up, verse 20. But even ate them, no one could tell it. So they looked just as ugly. Then I woke up, first my up, first my my dream here. Second my dream I saw seen full and single star. First one, them seven other head withered and and scorched by the east. For the thin head followed up the seven good head. I told this to, none of them could explain it. Now, the second you seen here, if is although all the people on Sphero have no doubt heard it over and over and now he's on it to- to this slave.

Speaker 3:

Prisoner. All right, verse 25. Then Joseph dreams of Pharaoh, our fame. God is pharaoh what he's about to now kid, 30 years old he's, but still he's young. God gives him heavenly and all the paid god about any of the things about to tell. Notice, joseph, joseph, god, god had a fair not tell you what this Joseph's source knows, where his source of ability comes from, and he gives the credit to the Lord when he has all the opportunities to take the credit himself, all these, to take credit himself now that he is paying dreams and do these type.

Speaker 3:

This is their yeah. It means yeah. It means my buddy mike morgan off. God can kill your. Meaning dark that no one knows. God knows in God's might never, might never. You know, never understand. Yet God, you can get to those place. That's why it's important to have a relationship. It's also a Effective reinforcement. God is in charge, not man. Pharaoh being, I wanna say head. I don't wanna mix Indian metaphors with the ancient, that doesn't. He was the boss, he was definitely the and the sovereignty of God, that God is above for man in the land.

Speaker 1:

And God didn't want to happen.

Speaker 3:

Man man, it's coming and it's interesting to like the cup baker, both of them, after they had their drink, they were bugged out, they were completely tripped out. I mean they were like what does this dream mean? And Farrell, all troubled, it, says he was of this dream that he had, of this dream that he had, and it's just a thing to know. Now, the sixth joke of a straight nation the cells are seven years and the heads of grain are years. It is the same dream, verse 27. The lean-up came up after, and so were the seven worrying scorched, but they are the Joseph gives a strict interpretation of what God has revealed, verse 28.

Speaker 3:

Now he's about to. Now I've been a little deeper here. As I said, the Pharaoh, god is sure about to do. Seven years abundance are coming into Egypt first. Three, seven years of famine followed. Then all the upon Egypt will be forgotten and the ravaged land will not be a famine that follows it so severe, for the reason was given the Pharaoh in, is that the mad firmly decide God and go to it soon. Pharaoh say in the matter, full man in the land. World at the time, world at the time, no say whether this is going to or not. God's sovereignty is also on me, because he has to let Pharaoh king you know he didn't have to Because he lets him know the man of God.

Speaker 3:

Now today, men and women of God, and proclaim what he is to do. Can I get an amen, amen, yeah, the today proclaim what the word is. Everything said was gonna happen, except for the things that are some. Everything said was gonna happen except for the things that are some. The prophets in the Old Testament claimed the word of God as the Lord. You know. For example, a child should give birth to us. She'll call his name Ewell.

Speaker 1:

Or.

Speaker 3:

From out come, the one who will be ruler whose origin is from unity, the one who will be ruler whose origin is from unity, from Apes, from out of Bethlehem. These, you know, they was going to happen. Well, those things happened. The only things that have not.
